In other words, the gameplay loop is no where near as fun as any of the previous AC games, so it's one and done once you have accomplished everything there is to do. There just isn't enough single player content to justify playing more, and restarting means deleting your character and playing the same experience all over again. I don't think anyone here is chomping at the bit to see any of these riveting characters return in a sequel.Īfter revisiting the game I would say the one thing that could be considered a large drawback is the lack of incentive to continue playing after the campaign. As a result it takes no time to blow through the entire campaign, and it's so comically cliche that I can't say it's entertaining. The single player is very easy, to a point where the only frustration I had was a certain meteor segment. Can't say you missed much either as the game had several hackers even at launch so the public multiplayer experience wasn't very fun. Balance is definitely not something the devs were concerned with so there are two or three builds that trump all others. Online is indeed dead, but if you find a friend group that can play it that works.
